Marija – olive tree – symbol of life in the heart of OVIkliniki
As part of an arrangement effort to create a welcoming, aesthetically pleasing and functional space at OVIklinika – a state-of-the-art infertility treatment center in Warsaw – we brought an unusual guest from Tuscany. It is a more than 100-year-old olive tree, which proudly bears the name Marija OVIklinika olive tree
A long way to the heart of the clinic
Placing Marija in the center of the waiting room – a place that is now the symbolic heart of the clinic – was a major logistical challenge. The tree weighs several hundred kilograms, and its transportation, installation and planting process required precision, coordination and care. Our team oversaw every step – from supervising the construction, to planting, to caring for it in the first, crucial year after planting.
In order for Marija to illuminate the space not only with her presence, but also visually – she was equipped with a specially designed LED lighting system with a spectrum tailored to her needs. This system was made by ledsport.pl.
Symbolic meaning – OVIkliniki olive tree
In ancient times, the olive was one of the most prized plants – it provided nourishment, served as a medicine, a cosmetic, a source of light, and acted as an offering to the gods. At OVIklinica, Marija has an equally unique role – it is not only part of the decor, but also a symbol of life, hope and strength that accompanies our patients on their journey to parenthood.
OVIklinika – part of the Angelius Group

The Angelius Group also includes a hospital, specialized laboratories, a clinical research department, a pharmacy and training units. Our goal is not only treatment, but also education and development of modern reproductive medicine.
